Doctor Martens 1919 Black Fine Haircell Leather Boots

An old standby that lasts and lasts. I felt like I had to write a review of these shoes after I got an email from Zappos telling me it had been a year since I ordered my Docs, and I could order the same item again, and that my size was available. Obviously they don't know Docs, or the people who buy them. One of the biggest selling points of Docs (aside from their incredible comfort) is that they last forever. I'm 32 and am still wearing the cherry Doc oxfords I wore in high school. I ordered these Dotor Martens 1919 steel toe boots last year knowing full well they are probably the last pair I'll ever need to buy. And I love them just as much as I loved my first pair. After an initial breaking-in period, they became my favorite pair of boots. In rain, in snow, through mud, as long as I had on a nice thick pair of socks to keep my toes warm, there was nowhere these boots wouldn't or couldn't go. These docmartens boots have been abused in the past year and they feel and look even better than they did when I first put them on. If you are the kind of person who enjoys disposable footwear, you'll hate these boots (or any Docs). If you enjoy indestructible, comfortable footwear, these martins 1919 boots are for you. Dansko Jocelyn Brown Veg-Tan Shoes

I have been wearing Dansko Jocelyn's for the past six plus years. I wear them all day, almost every day to work and when I travel. They are not the most fashion-forward shoe, but for someone with very wide feet with high arches and a history of plantar fasciitis, they are one of the only dress shoes that I can wear that do not aggravate my feet. And to me comfort is more important than style, I guess. I like this particular footbed of Dankso's. I have tried to wear the Dansko Professional clogs, but the footbed on the Jocelyn provides better support for my foot shape (wide, wide, wide) and is more comfortable for me. They also hold up really well. I alternate with black or brown five days a week and usually buy a new pair of one or the other about every two years. The other brand of shoe that I can wear like this is Keen (particularly the Providence and the Briggs styles). I also love my Croc Caymans and flip-flops for just hanging out! Doctor Martens 8312 Black Grizzly Oxford shoes

Look good but not perfect - I used to wear Docs all the time. The ones made in England. I still have both old pairs, 12 years later. Still in good condition too. I wanted an updated and more stylish pair but I guess these are made elsewhere. My main concern though was the thick sole. Before I got these I was wearing Timberland Precisefit oxfords which are awesome, in comfort and appearance, but discontinued. So these new Dr. Martens feel pretty heavy and clunky in comparison. I usually need a size 12.5, and I hoped that with the UK/US conversion that a size 13 would work for me but I was wrong. It was just way too big. I sent those back and ordered size 12 with my fingers crossed. Those seem like a good fit, but to my surprise they're still roomy. I lace them up tight. Walking in them takes some getting used to. They just feel a bit clunky, like boots. I don't think I'll wear them everyday. I do like the look of this shoe. Mine are Peanut Grizzly. I'll probably order another pair of Dr. Martens, some that feel more like shoes, for when my feet are fatigued from these. Get more details of Doctor Martens 8312 Black Grizzly Oxford shoes

Dansko Karl Antique Brown Oiled Clogs

Don't believe manufacturer sizing recommendation. I read the product description and I read some reviews. The product description recommends sizing downward for open back shoes. I read another reviewer that said this is a mistake, and I agree. Order the size you would normally wear; it will save you the hassle of reordering and returning. On the other hand, Zappos made that part really easy. More details on Dansko Karl Antique Brown Oiled Clogs

Dr. Martens 2295 Rigger Black Greasy Boots

I have always worn Doc Martens and I thought these boots looked cool online. I received the boots and they are so tough. These are the hardest boots I have ever had to break in. I am not even wearing them anymore because the right boot seems to be tighter than the left. I have a lump on my right foot from trying to stretch it out and the boots rub your skin raw on your shins if your socks slip down.

Cole Haan Tucker Venetian Black Shoes

I purchased 2 pairs for my son, different colors, different sizes, different widths. He liked the larger size in the narrower width, but he could not get used to the heel rubbing. The shoe has padding around it, except for the back part, where the heel is, there is a tab, a very stiff tab at that, and it rubbed. The shoes looked great on him, though. It's hard to get someone used to wearing a decent shoe, when they normally wear sneakers of flip-flops. Sadly, I had to return these ColeHaans. Clarks fireworks sand suede thongs

Ordered this pair of clarkfirework in 5, it was too small. Zappos sent me size 6 to try it out. It was too big. A 5.5 would have been perfect, but this model only comes in whole sizes. I ended up returning the shoes and now looking for another pair. Other than that, they look great, comfortable, and good quality, but if the shoe doesn't fit, I don't wear it. Doctor Martens Alison Black Mary Janes

First of all, the shoes arrived the next day! Second, the size is a little larger than listed. I am a size 10US and the UK7 fit me perfectly. Third, the shoes need breaking in then they fit great. I walk *a lot* and had to wear band aids on my heels for a few days. Now, I can easily walk four miles in them with athletic socks. I'm switching to shoe liners (what's the point of wearing cute shoes with sports socks?) and having no problems (no band aids). I love the rich brown color and the shape makes my large feet look pretty dainty, as much as possible in Docs! Get more details on Doctor Martens Alison Black Mary Janes

Cole Haan Dwight Saddle Tan Shoes

Great shoes... Greater Service! I've been wearing Cole Haan shoes for years. They are not inexpensive, but they are stylish, well made, comfortable and last forever. My older Cole Haans have all been size 9-1/2 or 10, depending on the style. At first, I ordered size 10, but had to return them and re-order size 10-1/2. The second pair fits perfectly. I have to say that Zappos.com is truly an amazing company. The original shipment was far faster than I expected, the return process was flawless, and the replacement order was done perfectly as well! All at no extra charge! Well Done! See more styles of Cole Haans and this Cole Haan Dwight Saddle Tan Shoe
